Walkera Heli Future
Can anyone confirm what the status is with Walkera helicopters, are they leaving the market? are they scaling the range down? it would be nice to see some sort of news on their site or get a response from someone who knows, please respond if you have official info?
In my eyes it would be sad to see them disappear, especially as the V120D02S is a clear winner and in my eyes has no competion, there is no endless messing to get it to work well, it does that out the box, it can also covert to 2s easily if more power is required. Please tell me someone will continue to manufacture and support this bird. Perhaps they should do a Nano CPX size CP heli now blade have discontinued theirs. I don't think there is any doubt that they have left the helicopter marker. Spares are still available but are expected to get sparser as time goes along. They are completely into mutli-rotors and FPV now and seem to be doing alright. Their distribution network is now much larger than it has even been with helis.

Thank you for the response, lets hope a decent V120DO2S alternative appears before the spares run out.
In the meantime I will continue to fly and enjoy. JonBee Align Trex 250 pro DFC, Belt, microbeast 2 x walkera V120d02s 3 x nano CPX various brushless conversions |
