Hi everyone,
Have you found a solution to the blades spinning at the low position? I just ordered my V450D03 and I just can't wait to get it. Will be using it with my Devo 8s... Any suggestions? Thanks guys |

Not everyone has the problem of the blades starting to spin at 0 throttle, mine never has.

huh?
Why not just lower the throttle subtrim? I don't own that heli or transmitter but I ran into a similar situation.

V450D03 Maiden Flight
Hello,
I received my V450D03 from helipal two days ago... I binded it to my Devo 8s, no problems. And yesterday I took it out for a flight I could hear the other guys whispering and wondering if I was crazy to fly it out of the box without any adjustments... I was nervous since this was my first flight with a 450 class... After a few seconds... nervousness faded and it became FUN.. Now the Trex buffs are wondering if all they ever heard about walkera might just be not completely true.. [ame]http://youtu.be/4JPLXRyDwuo[/ame] |

Calm the Beast (V450D03)
When I first flew mine it was aggressive, way more then the Blade 400,so I calmed it down, much better now........
On the Devo 10 L -100 H 50 M -23 2 -44 3 -33 4 -28 6 -18 7 5 8 27 and THAT is where they will stay until I feel comfy with the switch from the DX6i,and a Blade 400,to the Devo 10 w/ 4.0.1 and a V450D03,and a Blade pair of Blade 400's.................. DISCLAIMER:THESE may or may NOT work for you,TRIAL and ERROR work for everyone....(stock up on spare parts) |

The heli should have a smooth start-up.I think Walkera have shot themselves in the foot by abandoning helis, this is by far the best 450 heli I've flown. You can make it as stable as you like or lively by just adjusting a pot and I just love the idea of a combined receiver/6 axis gyro, makes for a tidy installation with no patch leads. If only they had made this model GPS capable instead of the useless G400.

Don't forget the V450D01. It is similar to the D03 but lighter and faster. Handles just a little bit better too. |
