Default I just bought an RJX 50 Nitro (2009 Version) Flybarred

Hi Guys,

I just bought an RJX 50 from ebay.
It is the 2009 Flybarred Version, with a CF Frame.
It might take quite a while until it arrives here in germany.

So until then, any suggestions, anything I need to know about this Helicopter?

I have 3x Hi-Tec HS-625MG Digital floating around here and I am planning on installing those.

As a Tailservo I am going to use the SAVÖX SH-1290MG, just because its floating around in my endless pile of unused Helicopter electronics as well.

I am not quite sure about the enigne yet. I am propably going to go for an O.S 50 or a TT-50H Pro. I have heard a lot of good things about these engines and their pricing looks very reasonable to me.

I have absolutely no idea which muffler I am going to use, since this is only my second Nitro helicopter and my first Nitro did not get a lot of flying time at all.

Do you guys have any tips and suggestions for me? Any special tools I might need for the RJX?

Regards,
Lennart

Edit: Forgot to say, the Kit is new. And it has the Torque Tube tail.

I built a pre 2009 model a year ago and really liked the build.

Just go ahead and put it together.

First problem i had was after the first flight. Mine came with the blue straight-cut
main gear which aren't strong enough. Replaced that with a 87T from a Vibe 50
after having some problems with the slant geared version when i swapped it for the blue one.

RJX shares a lot of parts between the Xtreme and Vibe.
