Default Elevator control arm upgrade?

I am going flybarless and while I am at it i want to upgrade to the elevator control arm instead of the anti rotation bracket. Do I need anything else besides HN6102AF? What takes the place of the anti rotation bracket?

That's all there is to it. Did it myself last month. You might/will need to re-level the swashplate, but the anti-rotation bracket becomes surplus to requirements.

Hi guys,
I too want to upgrade bracket to A arm because I'l upgrade to DFC head but I have the V1 nitro which has the elevator arm at the front of the heli while the A arm is fitted at the rear side! So how is this fixed? If at all possible. Also, I can buy the HN6102QF and not HN6102AF is there a differece between these two?

Well the new A shaped arm will still be at the front just like the old one and the difference between the two spare parts is the color and I'm going with the black one :-)

I did this mod...easy, just put it on in place of the original elevator arm. From what I recall, there was no specific modifications needed. I'll check when I get home.

I didn't use any spare parts. The A-arm comes with everything you need. Just take the anti rotation bracket out, take your old elevator arm off and reassemble with the new one.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but since I've just done the elevator A-arm upgrade, I thought I'd share my experience.

There appears to be two parts released as an elevator arm upgrade for the 600N. I got the latest part kit - which was HN6102AA - in black to match the rest of my NSP hardware.

Whilst being a bit fiddly, it was a straight swap, and absolutely no adjustment needed on any of the linkages, but then I did spend a long time during initial build getting everything 90 degrees at 0 pitch, so I guess I got that bit right. Appears to be no slop on the elevator at all, and absolutely no play on the control shaft/bell cranks - one thick shim and one thin shim were used on each side.

Nice upgrade - will have to wait until the weather warms up to test her out though! Next upgrade, flybarless - so this was partly in anticipation of that.

One additional thing I do is move the elevator servo inboard of the frames. Only requires one additional align part to provide the mounting base.

Yeah, that would make for a tidy machine - I never liked how close the back of the servo + servo wire is to the right bellcrank as it is at the moment.

What part is required for this alternate mounting - is it this? "H60183M Metal Elevator Servo Mount"

The description for this says: Use for T-REX 600N/600E/700E tail servo.

Tail servo?

I had the same issue as Sixback and had to move the servo inward. The servo rod ends were binding at full travel with the servo horn. I used a carbon servo plate placed between the frame and the servo.
