It was a plastic 425 that I stretched. No electrics or motor. Those went to the X5

I got two new packs that should hold up. Turnigy 2650 40C.
It is a very tight fit to get the canopy over. I might chop the nose and make a tilted battery mount. Was cursing at the current way it straps underneath angway.

still the unsafe feeling of running these tiny plastic main grips remains. If i push the blades up and down by hand it makes this horrible squeeking noise.
Am i safe at 2300rpm with 520mm blades?

if anyone has a spare set of metal bladegrips willing to part i might be interested.

Default Lowering the headblock

It is very easy during conversion from flybar to flybarless to use the hole from the flybar to lock the head to the main shaft. The result is fine. Just rotate the lock assy 90 degrees and use shorter links from swash plate to grips.
Have nice flights!
