Default mCP X: alu blade grips with plastic rotor hub?

Hello, i'm donnybaxter, still fairly new to the hobby, and brand new to HF...

So ive gotten past the constant crashing stage of my mCP X, and im ready to begin upgrading to aluminum parts. this is my first attempt at custom upgrades, as all of my other helis are pretty much stock machines.
My LHS gets Microheli parts from time to time, and sell them as quick as they can get them in. As i was in the shop this evening i watched an employeee open a newly arrived box of mCP X hop ups, and proceed to sell them all in about 20 minutes. I was able to snag a pair of aluminum blade grips, and an aluminum swashplate, both by microheli.
My question is, if i install my new alu blade grips with the stock hub, shaft and everthing else, do i risk damaging the rest of my heli in the inevitable crash, due to the rigidity of the grips, and the weakness of the surrounding plastics? Or am i overthinking the whole thing? I am confident with the aluminum swashplate install, but am curious as to whether the alu blade grips are pointless without the accompanying hardware?

any suggestions or input would be greatly appreciated

note: i am interested in aluminum parts for strength aspects over visual appeal. i am being hardheaded about the flight sim thing, and this makes my repair costs abnormally high. any part that i can avoid replacing in the future is very worth the additional cost of upgrade in my mind.

I have been running Xtreme alloy grips on the stock plastic head for months, the stock head is fine.

Default excellent upgrades

thank you for your responses

so due to extreme lack of patience, i installed the parts last night.
incredible difference.
this heli just moves so FAST!!! its just so nimble, i can get out of most any tight spot. an absolute joy to fly. i hope when i get the balls to move up to t-rex that i still enjoy flying this much.
the new swashplate provides much better tracking. i swear this bird is quieter than it was. rain is stopping me from getting out and whipping it around and crashing it a few times so i can see how durable the parts are, but for now i can say i definitely notice a difference.
makes me want to do all the upgrades.
