I know it might sound silly but are you sure you did not plug the esc cable backwards?

pretty sure. tried plugging cables in both directions. even followed directions on gpro manual when i installed it. hope i did not burn up gpro. rx powers up just fine. its just the gpro that wont power up! it was working fine then unplugged esc wire to program esc then plugged back in and nothing?? will not even connect to computer program either.

Did you make sure you plugged it into the correct slot? Sometimes the slots dont match up good w the pins.

Ok well obviously the rx is getting power so try switching out the cable from the rx to the gpro, maybe theres a loose connection in one of the wires. Im not familiar w gpro so im kind of shooting in the dark here.

Try it with no servos connected and just the esc wire plugged in. Make sure your white signal wire is pointing up. I had a short in one of my 430M's with my dominator kit that fried the gpro. The gpro would start to get really warm if you had it plugged in to the esc.

Yeah you probably don't want to reverse them ever. Orange would be the signal wire with those connections.

It shouldn't unless you send power to where the signal wire goes.
The gpro is all pins though so it's possible to put it all the way at the bottom and maybe send power to ground If I remember where the aux/bec connection is.

if you have another power source like 4 double A batteries you could rule out an esc problem. Maybe you just turned off the bec in the esc so you're no longer getting power?
