It's appreciated guys but if I piled one in I'd never forgive myself, I have a hard time watching other people crashing, let alone my own.
I'm more than happy to watch, it's (almost) as much fun as flying for me.

If I can get up there on Saturday I'll drive up both days, I think that'll be the best night for foamy carnage so I'll ask the guys if they're up for it.

If I can find an ESC between now and next week the 700 may be ready.
I have a Scorpion 130 SBEC in the box. The 550 is my practice bird. Ill leave it up to you if you feel like flying it there! I'll have the green passat, md tags with a blue Yamaha generator and some align helis!

Same here. You're welcome to screw with the 130x, or BL mcpx. I'd offer my spare ESC, but it doesn't beat a 130 Scorp only being a CC 80.

I'll see about contacting Casey for heli arrangements. Might be able to have it set up where heli guys get the far right part of the line, and the back stretch during non-event times. Was that way for Spring Fling and the recent mini fun fly.

There's also corn everywhere as aviator pointed out lol. We had a few folks ditch in the corn, and it's not fun. Some of it is pretty baked from the drought, and not so nice to go crawling through as a result.

I plan on getting there fairly early Friday. I'll set up my canopy on the far right side of the line.

I'll be driving the white 328 with white canopy some Protos, a Fusion 50 and a bright yellow charging box.

130X's take a licking and keep on ticking and there is a slight possibility my Brushless MCPX will also be back in the air.

And Cascade you can help me with the SL on the SK720

There are some unfound aircraft in the corn! I'll text Casey in the morning and see what he can do. So far I know of at least 6 local heli guys that will be there. Im sure Casey will be flying his 200+ mph jet! Oh, and there more than likely will be Stryker dog fighting!

No problem, make sure you update the firmware to 3.12 before you leave, there's a bug affecting some 720s with SL and logging on 3.10

I saw Casey fly at the Spring Fling, took some video although trying to keep up with that was almost impossible. Very fast and it made some great noises.

Silver Sienna van, grey EZ-up, honda 2000, 600EFL that's half compass lol, etc.

Default Corn

Corn is going.........going..........gone.
They have been harvesting all week. Really opened up the place, especially the back field.

Noooo!!!!

Will there be anything left to "mow"?

Any idea if there will be any night flying on Sunday? I wanted to drive up both days but it looks like the rest of the clan can't make Saturday, lightweights.

Cheers!

Mow the relatively small plot of soybean on the frontside, or any of the many acres of 1 foot tall punji sticks left after the "children of the corn" sickled.

Sunday night flying will be up to the hardcore that care to stick around.

Sweet the harvested all the corn down? I won't feel paranoid flying over the fields now lol.

Casey and those guys find any "airplane shaped surprises" while they were working?

Have a safe trip, see you at the weekend bud.

All the junk is packed into the van save for the lipo containers and helis them selves.

Ready for a sweet weekend. Hopefully no one goes splat too badly.

You guys missed a great day for flying.

There were the occasional dust devils which added some spice to the flying.

I bailed about 7:00 PM I got tired of charging batteries and was pretty beat.

Was having some issues with the YGE Governor on my Mini P the the last flight of the day.

That will give me something to sort out in the AM.

MCPX, and 130X got a workout.

P500 and FU 50 behaved themselves well.

See Y'all in the morning.
