Default Do you fly with flat throttle, or curves?

I just built my 450, and I was wondering whether I should set different flat throttles (say 45% for pos 0, 70% for pos 1 and 100 for pos 2), or use a curve.

Considering I use a gov now, it made sense to me to fly with a flat throttle. Is that what most people do? What settings are yours?

Before I had a good governor, I used to fly flat lines... 100% in ST-2, 85% in ST-1

I can't say enough good things about using a governor

I use the same curves on my DX6i !! When I upgrade my radio to th DX8 one day I want IU1 flat 85 and IU2 flat 100 and keep my normal the same 0,50,85,85,85 for a smooth transition between flight modes !!

I've been flying flat 100 for about a month now but I'm not perfectly happy. I get some crazy head speed at zero pitch and just about fine in the top third. I guess I need a better motor? I use the Tarot 3800kV with 12T.

That's what governors are for.

without a gov you will need to use a throttle curve to manage your rmp/collective

on a 450 I fly a cc ice 50 and use the gov

I would use the mikado vbar gov but castle doesnt play well with phase sensors
