Stiffer/Better Dampners?
So I wear out the dampners really fast.... About 100 flights or less and they get very soft. They're pretty darn soft to begin with, with the all metal head and the increased mass it doesn't help. (don't talk to me about excessive bling, I haven't broken a single head component in 400+ flights. Even my MH swash is still PERFECT with no slop. Can't say that about the plastic).
I think the dampners work great stock, but with brushless it's not enough for me. I'm hard on the cyclic. Does KBDD plan to make any? Is there a substitute? I've tried the thicker brass washers that came with the MH head, and ended up going back to two stock washers on each side. Helps alot to stiffen up the head, but it just needs more.

Use these instead of the stcok dampners. They are much harder and I use them on all my conversions.

I use the stock dampners but with extra washers, I took off the step of the stock brass washers and added 1 per side.
So its 2 washers per side instead of the one. |
