Looks as if it could possibly be made to fit the g500 frame but I doubt the 570 belt will work..

How much longer is the 570 boom? Looks like it is more than 70mm longer.

I think G570 boom will fit the G500 perfectly! May be need to cut 2 slot on the G500 frame, find some belt that longer than the stock G500 50mm and cut down the length of G570 boom 35mm then you will have a G550 with light weight!

It would appear that the 570 boom has a larger OD than the 500 boom. Maybe 1/8" larger? I'd be a little concerned about that.

ETA: the 570 boom is taller, but not necessarily much wider. Maybe it could work.

You could also just buy an aftermarket G500 stretch kit like the Lynx one and you are good to go. This is a lot less involved in my book at will most likely be a similar price once you buy the boom and the aluminum mounting piece from the 570.

Hope this helps...

+1. The Lynx stretch kit is $75 and takes about 10 minutes to install!
