Default E700 not going anywhere

Spoke with rep in taiwan yesterday.. The e700 is ramping up production on parts. The tiger fuselage and crash kits are in production and will be available in march. Many many kits also. The hard to get parts for e700 are all in production as we speak and will soon be released. He even said of the new kits that somelittle things are changing as to what you get in the kits. The e700 is a highly popular model worldwide and isnt going anywhere. Thunder tiger went through some production changes and they were not making parts for awhile but that has ended and they r in full swing mode once again.keep your eyes open peeps.

For the most part parts and kits have been ok for the last while at HRP . The only items out of stock for sometime have been the stretch TT , sometimes lower frames and of course the Fuselage that has been sometime arriving . But as said above they should all be is shortly as told to me by HRP . Lets hope that things just keep getting better as nothing flys as nice as the E700 in my opinion .

The E700 is definitely my favorite heli.
I would breathe a little easier if standard tail booms and the lower frames were in stock everywhere.
But here is to hoping the OP got good info from the TT rep.

Well in my shop in Canada we have lower frames and crash kits in stock! I know when HRP gets the stuff that has been in short supply in it goes out fast to the dealers. Hope Thunder Tiger can get caught up and the little shortages come to an end.

Here in europe i only found a crash kit about 90€... if anyone knows where i can order one i'd appreciate ...
This heli flys great and i appreciate the thunder tiger conception.
I sent few days ago an e-mail to TT europe to get informations about spare parts production and kits... they told me e700 is still an "actual product".... but no answer about crash kit production. Getting an official straight answer would be deeply appreciate from us. We're a lot of pilots here flying e700 for its price, and many would like to do as well but need to be reassured

They don't have a crash kit, but try http://www.align-trex.co.uk/ for what you need. Just give them a call ..

Thanks..... this crash kit was one of the reasons i choosed E700.
Here in france we are some pilots looking for a good alternative to fly 3d, often, we just hope to see those crash kits available !

This is great news. I've been wondering what is happening with TT. In fact, I even wondered if the entire company was on the way out. Understandably, the multi-rotor market is negatively impacting the heli scene, which might be why TT cut all but three helis last summer.
I'd love to see an official nitro conversion for the E700, but am happy it's sticking around and we have the option of the full fuse that's coming soon (maybe).

Not sure what the latest is on parts, but I did call HRP this past week and was told they are no longer the SOLE us distributor for TT. They couldn't tell me more than that, but did also mention that TT is moving more to direct sales to customers as opposed to always going through distributors.
As far as I know the E700 is still popular around the world, just not as much in the states (much like KDS). Vortex hobbies in UT seems to be well stocked, and there are several sellers on ebay (most in Tiawian) who have ALL parts. Those sellers have good feedback, so I wouldn't be scared to order from there. I hope the E700 will stick around!
