Default Longer bluetooth range

Hello! I have dpl8 charger with bump. Works fine but at the field the bluetooth range is very short. I know BT is short way to go but 30m from the charger would be fine. Now only maybe 10m.
Is there any BT booster?

30m is pretty much impossible for BT ... 10m is typical, 20m is about as far as i have seen.

Ive heard of guys using a remote access app to connect wifi between phone and tablet in charging case.

Could you post what app they were using? The only apps I've found for wifi remote access needs an existing wifi network to work over. We don't have that at our flying field.

I haven't found anything capable of doing screen mirroring over wifi Direct.

Thanks,

KevinB

i have a samsung gear fit2 watch coming soon and i hope to be able to use it to extend the distance from charging box to me at the field. im thinking the phone will sit with case and my watch will be connected via wifi or bluetooth and can recieve notitfications from the phone. so charge completes and notifies phone of that, phone sends notification to watch of the CP apps notification. i think it will fix the short bluetooth range issue.

Thanks Kelly. That was the next thing I was going to try.

The weather here has dropped back down to sub -20C temps, so for now, charging packs and BUMP bluetooth range isn't really an issue for me.......
