So how do we determine motor speed? It woud seem to me we would start with that number, and solve for the correct pinion gear to get the head speed we are targerting? No?

How do I know what rpm should I have on my heli?

I'm having a Falcon 3D electric heli with wood blades.
In the heli instructions there is nothing written about this.

i have a question. when i was doing my gp780 gyro setup, in heading hold mode i would turn the rudder stick to the left or to the right and let go of the stick and the rudder does not come back to center. is that normal? i also grab the heli and turn it left and right and the gyro does move the servo. but when i put the gyro in rate mode and i move the rudder stick and let go of the stick, the rudder does come back to center by it self. im new at this so your help would b nice.

yes...what you are experiencing is normal behavior by gyro.

what you need to make sure is that the correction it is doing, is in the correct direction.
