Default X5 torque tube bearing

I hear some of you guys using align tt bearings on the X5.

Can I ask what bearings? And how many are you using..I saw someone was using 2?

Where are you placing them on the TT

Thanks

I am using the align trex 600 bearings and rubber retainers. I run two of them.

Offset! NOT exactly in the middle like stock bearing.
I only replaced the bearing holder for the Align 600 one.

Yes, 600 TT bearing x 2. I put the TT vertically and put a plier on top of the original bearing. Just tap plier to get the bearing out of the TT.

NO Need to remove orginal bearing.
1)Just use the align rubber hold. Cut the Gaui bear holder out and replace it with align bearing holder.
2) Add another bearing or 2 if you like.

I got the 2 pack from align and now my tail have 3 bearing supporting the rod all have align rubbers on. Over Kill? YESSS

Did you replace the stock bearing holder?

I'm using only the stock set up with no problems during the first 4 gentle flights.

Same here. Stock setup and it seems fine. Recently purchased kit with 520 blades, 15T pinion and MB v3. Perhaps something has changed...

Default torque tube

How do you remove pins in the end of torque tube, to install new bearings.

I read people use a nail and a hammer to get the job done.

I only replaced the bearing holder for the Align one.
If I grab a hammer, stuff only gets worse.
