Dealers and distributors will not be happy because I had to remove all of the margin in order to keep you, the customer, happy with the final price. Release date - The CNC shop is trying to ship TT Conversion Kits next week 4/9 - 4/13. I will keep you posted as to whether that happens or not. I know the wait has been long but the drive system is right and I think you will be happy with it. Let me know if you have any questions! Thanks, Matt |

Doesn't seem like an overly complicated upgrade. I look forward to the install.

Guys, please pay close attention to the set screws that retain the bevel gear pins! The one at the tail box may be missing from your kit, so be sure to add one. If these set screws are not installed, you WILL lose a bevel gear pin in flight!

How did you strip them on a crash?

If you crash can you buy just replacement parts or do you have to buy a complete conversion again?

Is it only one set screw to hold the tail boom in?

No, the boom slides into two clamps which actually hold it in place the set screw is just insurance. The tail box also has one built in clamp and one place for a set screw. These are metal clamps, not plastic, and would hold the boom and tail box in place just fine without the 'insurance' set screws.

Do I really need the TT? I don't want to get into discussions of belt vs TT. It's been done so many times and it's boring now. I'm more interested in specific issues with this heli.
Are there any specific issues that the TT kit solves? Is it required to do a static mod with the belt version? Is the TT version a lot noisier and less smooth than the belt version? Any other reasons why I should get the TT version?
