Default Synergy pilots near me

I have met very few people around here who fly helicopters so I was really surprised yesterday when I landed and someone walked up and said he was surprised to see someone flying an RC heli. Even more surprising was that he also has an N7! Being the dumbass I am, I forgot to ask for his contact info. We did talk about being on Helifreak so hopefully we can get in contact through this post. Gets old flying by myself all the time.

I hear ya, not a lot of heli flyers around me either.
And never met another Synergy pilot.
Mostly Goblins and Aligns.

It's a pretty good mix here.. Not a lot of pilots.. But a good few... Some team pilots as well.. Which is nice cause I get to learn more stuff... Now I do fly alone more often than not due to work & family schedules.. But the group still gets down together often enough.

When I first started flying heli's I was living in Coeur d'Alene Idaho and I was one of 3 known heli pilots. Moved to Fort Collins Colorado and I found 2 others.
Now I live in Omaha Nebraska and am part of a group of 6 serious flyers and many others that dabble in heli's. We are few and hard to find group compared to the numerous amounts of Plankers in the area.

I actually bought a couple of planks to get in with the guys, then I sneak in a Helicopter flight
Flying planks compared to Helicopters is sort of like taking a nap, at least with my flying style.

Hahaha...good to hear. One of my heli buddies also flies planes was trying to get me to fly them. He ended up getting me a 48" foamie to build so I guess I"ll be taking some flying naps soon.

I have a few foamies & a 74" Aeroworks Yak54.. It's pretty fun.. Good to relax with from time to time.. It doesn't hold the same feelings for me as helis.. No.. But if it flys.. I dig it!
