TREX 450 PRO BUILD
PLEASE CONFIRM
If the Receiver FINLESS uses in the build is the AR 6115 ?????? That's the one I plan to use, but I would like a confirmation.. If not, is the AR 7000 a reasonable one to use ? and what about available space ? ( it has 2 parts) HeliProz ' kit is due to arrive either tonight or tomorrow FINLESS : I cannot thank you enough for these build videos. Last I built was the GMP CRICKET and the GMP COBRA ( 20 + years ago) and was only able to make the COBRA fly.... THANKS AGAIN.......my build begins this week |

AMID: sats are always a good choise if compared to a unit with no sats! AR6115 will work but AR7000 is better, AR6200 or AR6210 would be perfect for a 450 Pro

I used a AR6100 which they do not make anymore. The 6115 will be fine.

ele servo-swash linkage rod
A friend of mine was commenting on my 450 pro linkage rod (ele servo-swash) which was not vertically straight upwards. Its was in an angle toward the swash (ball at outer position) and from what I saw on other 450's, most are vertically upward as the pi and ai linkage. Well it flew (just hovering, no 3D) just nice and its been like this since I finished building it. Any comment 450 pro owner & mr finless?....myb I can make it vertical if I chance the ball position (toward the center). Heres the video on other 450 helis...

I'm thinking of building a pro V2 3Gx while referencing Bobs videos, but I have a DX6i, which I believe cannot be used with the built in receiver in the 3GX. I will need to use a difference receiver for the DX6i, but I'm not sure if the 6115 will work. Can anyone tell me which receiver would work well with the Trex 450 Pro V2 3Gx and a DX6i ?? Thanks sooo much Bob for the great build videos!!! I can't wait to get started. |
