How to Configure Setup Selection?
Hi,
I'm new to the MHS Brain, trying to set up my first one. I'm stuck on how to switch between "Setups" 1, 2 and 3. I'm using a Futaba 14SG. I've selected Ch 7 in the Receiver advanced menu for the setup selection. Futaba Ch7 is set to Switch E (same one I use for N, IU1, IU2). The Brain doesn't appear to switch between modes as witnessed by the blinking red light on the unit. It seems to be always 2 red blinks. How have others done this with the 14SG? thanks in advance! |

Please explain what you figured out. I am using a t8fg and am having same issue. Seems that most people use spektrum with the ikon.

In my case (T14SGH), Ch7 is "Governor". I assigned Switch E (same as Flight Mode switch assignment) to select the Governor gain.
Then, go into the Governor through the MDL menu, and set the gains at the different Switch E positions (N, IU1, IU2). I used 100, 50, and 0 to switch between MHS Brain "setups" or modes. I'm not sure what channel you would use on the T8FG, but there has to be something similar? HTH, Bill |

Couldn't you just have used a different channel in the radio and then just selected that channel in the Brian software to match? It doesn't have to be channel 7 to work. That's just the default in the Brain software.
