Default Power a 308D with a 6s?

Anyone ever power a 308 duo with a 6s battery?

When I fly indoors use small batteries like, 2s/3s 250-450mah. I was thinking that I could plug the 308 duo into a 6s 5300 (or 2) and get a few charges. Anyone ever try it? Input is rated to 30v so that should be a problem.

I know, if I'm indoors, why not just pug into the wall? Two outlets, lots of people... And... I thought it would be cool.

I believe Slyster powers a 306B with a 6S battery when he goes indoor flying with his micros. He has posted a picture of this setup a couple of times.

Yep! Works great. Unlimited flying (well.. a lot) with a 6s5000mah lipo. I use a 6 port parallel cable to charge from 1 to 6 lipos at a time.

Nice! Did you set a low voltage alarm on the 6s?

I have a iCharger 206B which i use for field charging of smaller batteries and i power that from a 6s 5000mAh LiPo. I just connect one of those cheap little voltage checker/alarms to the balance plug to give a warning when it's getting low (set at 3.7V).

The 308 Duo should work just as well from a 6s LiPo.. Obviously it only makes sense if you are charging relatively small batteries.

I'd hate to get distracted and drop the 6s too low. I should be able to get an alarm that plugs into the balance tap. Now I just need a place to fly! Our normal gym is unavailable for the next few weeks. Very sad.
