8FG irritating flashing light in sim mode
Hi
Do anyone know how to disable the flashing light under the T8FG super logo, when connected to the simulator adapter? Would prefer both light solid, and not one of them continuously flashing. Right now, when I'm playing around in phoenix, I'm covering the light with a piece of tape Last edited by Eribeer; 09-24-2011 at 04:39 PM.. |

Hmm, that does not sound right. What I know, and what the manual states is that the left LED should be blinking when it warns about powering up in non normal flight modes. The right one is either on or off, to indicate RF status.

It irritated me too. Switch to idle up, turn on tx, when warned about idle up select the option to continue with the radio off, then plug in the cable. Now the right hand light will be off.

Thanks for the replies.
It was the right one that was constantly blinking. Tom, your trick with starting in idle-up made the right light stay solid Thanks again.Hopefully we'll get another way around this, with a setting or something.. |

I do not have this issue. What sim are you guys using? I am using phoenix with the supplied adapter/copy protection dongle.

Okay, this is kind of embarrassing.. Didn't pay any attention to this before
When I plug in the squared sim cable (doesn't have to be connected to the computer), the transmitter turns itself on, but with the right status light blinking. In my belief, everything was turned on, and working as it should Well, if I turn on the power switch after I've plugged in the cable, the right light goes blank. If I turn on the power switch, then plug in the cable, the light goes solid. Thanks all for the help guys... Hope all of us that didn't think of turning on the power switch will start using it in sim mode from now |

I can handle the blinking light, but I also have ERR blinking on the display when connected to the sim. What causes that?
