Default New life for the older TREX600

I designed a direct to swash frame for the older TREX and HK600.
made to run the wider motors. check it out.

I used BOBCAD and PRECIX 1100 router. I am running a build log on RCG.

I'm interested in this. I have a friend with the old T600e aluminum frame version and he recently went FBL. I was thinking about having some frames cut based on the T550e design but tailored to the old T600e hardware.

Would you mind sharing your files?

I've had this guy cut several parts for me out of black 0.060" G10.

I am making them out of the Green G10 in small quantities.

If you can give me a source for black G10 I could give you a price to cut them out on our router. I have a lot of time invested in the files and I don't know if I am going to try to make them commercially yet,so I would rather not share the files.

Well, there is always McMaster-Carr....

I'm not sure where the owner/operator of myrcbuild gets his G10 from. My best guess is that he uses this stuff...

I get my "natural" G10 from e-plastics.com (Rideout). I contacted them about black G10(they only have black in 0.25) I would need to buy a large quantity directly from their manufacturer to get it in 0.060" About $700.00.

The best size for me to use on my machine is 24" X 24" , however the ones I have made so far were cut from a 12" X 12" sheet.

I am going to see if I can find some smaller quantities this week. Would your buddy consider the green frames?

As to the files- I can send PDF prints so you can see what you are getting.

Garolite CE (High impact resistance) would be a better choice than G-10/FR4.

I agree, I think I will order some from them for a test. I used 12X12 for my prototypes.
