Just got my Hirobo SDX electric done. Runs on 6s. Headspeed at 1400. Spinblades and brushless servos all around. Weighed in at 9 lbs. Flies very nicely. This is my first flybarless heli. I am using the v control. I am very happy with the performance. The only thing I need to tune is a slight wag on the tail. Any tips?

Nice looking bird. I'm all into keeping the oldie-but-goodies alive. Sorry I can't help you w/your tail wag though. I have a small wag on my Shuttle. However, a club member gave me some advice on what to do. But it's a flybar. I haven't flown it since new years day.

Hi JBHawaii,
That looks really good! What sort of flight times are you getting an what size pack? I converted my SDX to electric with a 12s setup and it had bags of power but the flight times were quite low (about 5 minutes on pairs of 2600mah packs). However, that was with the flybarred head running about 2000rpm. It was also a bit on the heavy side at 4.2kg. Regarding the tail wag, is it s slow or a fast wag? My first thought would be that at 1400rpm the tail may not have enough power, so maybe going with a wide chord 95mm carbon tail blade would help. (or if you have 600mm mains you could probably go up to 105s on the tail)
