Default X2 size?

Is Gaui X2 300 size heli? I already has Gaui 200 and is looking to buy a second heli. Debating whether to get x2 or T-rex 450 Pro v2 3gx. I understand this is Gaui 255/x2 forum, but given choice which would you get?

Here it is side by side

Do you want a bigger heli? =450

Or a slightly bigger heli that flys circles around a 450?=x2

Here is a side by side to a 200,X2,X5

Thx for the size comparison. BTW is that your living room?? If so, then we know you're single, or soon-to-be...

Is x2/255 considered 300 size heli since it uses 255mm blades?

Just under

The trex 450 spins 325mm blades
the x2 spins 255mm

I guess its still a 200 size, but stretched.

That's a tuff one to answer

If you have a 200, think of it 2 inches longer
with alot more power, that's every mans dream
And its what the x2 is

Most would consider it 300. It's about the same size as the Blade CP and SR helis which people call 300's.

I just maidened it and I can say this for sure...

It flies like a much bigger heli than the 250. Beautiful, and I haven't even started dialling in the Beast X... as for what size class it is - I agree you could call it a stretched 250 or a possibly just about a 300.

It is what it is!

The 450 naming comes from the old brushed motor size and was nothing to do with the blade size, it just stuck.

Walkera does a V370 that is about the same size and walkera does seem to have the same sizing as Align, so maybe 370 class.

Yup, the good ol' Mabuchi 450 brushed motor that came in the Tamiya R/C cars so many of us had as kids and migrated into the first mass produced electric helis. I miss my old Grasshopper, Hornet, Frog, etc.
