I am anxiously awaiting your test results. I have one 6S Evo25 2500 right now and will be ordering one or two more packs next week. I was going to get to more of the 6s Evo25 but if you like the Evolite my plans may be changing.

I just hovered my 500 in the driveway for the first time this morning and am going to fly with some friends in about an hour. My first impression is that "I am definitely going to need some more packs!"

I think a lot of the 450 folks will be very interested in the 5s results. Some of us have chargers that will handle the 5S. I'll be watching. Thanks.

Can't wait for the reviews Bob. I was trying to figure out which way to go 6s or 5s. Also please let us know which pinions you will use with each pack. Is flightpower coming out with a 6s 2700 pack? Thanks as always you are a huge help!!!!

Bob,

I would like to see a comparision video/article between EVO25 6S 2500 and EVOLITE 6S 2500 from you. I am debating whether to get a EVO25 or EVOLITE.

Thanks

I see RCHover has the new 2500 6S Evolites in stock. I'm leaning towards them.

Yep weight and capacity baby! Because 6S is higher voltage current draw is less and thus needing high discharge packs is not really needed. BUT let me test them out and as always I will give you guys my honest opinion!

BTW just got back from the Ontario AMA show and have some exciting vids to share.. some will be up TONIGHT!

Szabo's RUG BURN video is HOT! Look for it in the video forum and a cross link in the event forum.

Amen to the 3300s.

WOOT for Bob . As of right now, if I had to pick my packs I would go with the Evo Lites.

Evolites are about 83% the weight of Evo25. So a 3000mah 6S evolite should be the same weight as a 2500mah 6S Evo25 pack. That also means, the EVO lites are 3Ax18C= 54A versus EVO25 2.5Ax25C = 62A. I don't think anyone has needed 62A on the 500 yet, so I don't see any reason to buy Evo25 pack at all! You get 20% extra capacity for nothing! If you want the 3300mah evolite (when it exists) you'll have 30% increase in flight time with only 40g of weight penalty.

EVOlites make so much more sense.

How about the 4250's, will a 6s 4250 evolite fit I wonder. It should be about the same size as the 3700 Bob was trying. We could almost reach a 10 min flight with that.
