Default blade 400 help

I bought a used 400 and I can't get swash to move right direction. When I try to push throttle up, the swash goes down making negative pitch. What have I done wrong? Dx7s is radio

If I remember correctly Blade helis run trailing edge control. Which means the link rods are connected to the trailing edge of the main blades which as you give positive pitch your swash does move down and negative pitch swash moves up! So you are good to go!

Yes, I thought the swash was suppose to move down, but the blades also have negative pitch as the throttle goes up.Farther up makes more negative.

Ok gotcha! If it is fly barred then maybe try switching the swash values in the radio opposite of what you have set now. Say if they are + values then swich them to - values using the same #'s.

One more question. I have way too much negative very little positive. At mid stick zero. Dumb question I know but what do I do?

Servos arms at 90* and make sure the swash is as close to center on the main shaft at mid stick as possible. If the swash is not then adjust servo to swash links to make it centered again at mid stick. Then adjust links from swash to blade grips to 0*.
