Default What is "stirring the sticks"

I've seen this phrase used here every now and then and I don't quite get it. I'm pretty sure it's used to describe the stick movement while doing smack 3d...I think. Can anyone elaborate on it?

It's a circular motion you usually do on the cyclic stick to correspond to a pirouetting maneuver. Look at any video of someone doing a piro-flip with stick movements added in. Pretty much self explanatory after that!
