What are the best rotor blades for a t-rex se? They will be used for general sport flying while learning basic flips, rolls, and loops.

I've been using the align woodies for years without any problems. At heli fly-ins I've meet others who on do some moderate 3D and even they say the woodies perform just fine. I especially like the black ones with some holographic stickers on them

I don't know what V Blades are.

Here are my steps for success:

1. Buy cheap woodies
2. Buy holographic stickers
3. Apply stickers to blades
4. Fly around
5. Crash
6. Go to step 1

Best blades? or best blades for the money? best value? or best for you?
How strong is your attachment to money, and how is your supply of $$... Its a personal thing! You can spend $12 and get blades (woodies) that fly good. Or you can spend 25 and get off brand carbons that fly really good, or you can spend 50 and get beautiful, brandname carbons that fly great.

But... If you put a pair of cheap woodies on that don't match your canopy, you're almost sure to get 100 flights before you crash! (Murphys law applied to heli blades)

The $24 Heli Direct carbons are the best bang for your buck without a doubt IMO. Some say that they fly better than the more expensive name brands. I absolutely love the way they fly and the price is right.

They are hardlly ever balanced and mixed results.. I never bought any more.

for 5 bucks more you get the Radix Curtis Youngblood cosmetically flawed ones.

They have 2 brands of cheap carbons. Both sets of the 325s I have are great. I got a set of the 315s (different manuf) and they are absolute crap. The $24 325 carbons fly better than my Radix blades... more pop and smoother through center stick. The Radix require more pitch to get the same effect at full stick, so it makes the center more twitchy.

I have a set of SAB 320mm carbons, and I LOVE them. Best blades I've ever used by a long margin...

The TechMP blades are only rated for 2400. The Align woodies are rated 2800, I think.

The Align's feel stiffer than the TMP's.
