Wiring the 450L. Show off your Wiring.
Hi,
I'm trying to get an idea on how to wire this cleanly. I have a vbar and I chose to put it on top instead under the frame. It would be easier for me to hook it up to a pc or a bt. The ESC is in the front and I have no idea on how to bring that cable to the back without any extensions and the cyclic I just put some tape on the case to hold the wire so it does not touch the main shaft. So show me how did you wire your 450L. Thanks! |

Here is mine
This has worked out well for me. Even after smacking the balls off this little guy, everything is still secure and tight. I do think I will either heat shrink of nylon each servo wire in the near future just for added protection.

I mannaged to get my wirering fairly clean - or inside the frame if you like. My setup i all stock and i mounted the 3GX on the backplate and all wires went thru the narrow slot between the plate and tailboom block. I noticed that there isnt much room between the 3GX unit and the frame so i decided to make the short 3GX USB-wire permanent. I cant cut a zip tie and take the wire out thru one of the holes in the frame so i can put on the 3GX usb adapter. This is my first flybarless heli and it was quite easy to set up and now im considering to upgrade my 600E Pro to flybarless.

That's one clean wiring. So the wire for the ESC just go underneath the ESC mounting and thru the main gear?
And that thing is long enough? |

My third time wiring it, almost happy. Wires look tight on the Gyro, but are not, they are also hot glued to the top of the tail boom mount to minimize vibs.
Cut a touch of the frame to not rub against the antennas Trying to not have any wires show, but alas tis hard on this small bird

I had to use one extension cable for the ESC wire to reach all the way back.

I have the old V3 model & used two 6" extn cables for the front two servos as when running the fbl unit on the A/R bracket you can run the wires through the frame well out of the way of the swash/mainshaft area. Neat solution at minimal cost. Sorry no photos. Its Sunday night, I'm English & by tradition have been consuming alcohol.
Enjoy your build. |
