Can you do a pictorial tutorial on it? Thanks!
This would look awesome with some LEDs.

I painted the canopy myself.
The canopy comes clear, so you can mark the points to drill for canopy grommetts.
It is provided with stickers and a mask for windows which must be internally applied before the painting (a bit difficult job).
After painting the fuselage, the mask has to be removed and the work can be completed with a light semi-coating paint spray that makes translucent window.
To finish the job you have to remove the clear external protective film and apply the stickers
Thanks for the info, I ordered 2 in case i screw up...if not i'll paint both!

Since it rained all day, I couldn't take my Blade 400 3D out for a spin (got the new KBDD paddles and tail blades yesterday...so was hoping it didn't rain, but all day sure enough..rain. blah...but....) I flew the mSR most of the day and flew RealFlight G5.5 on the Cincinnati Ohio Flight School server...
Here's my bird today after she zipped around my house. So far 32 batteries flown on the little girl today and 8 more charging downstairs.

My first paint job...not real happy with the green canopy, the can shot some blobs, but it's not too horrible. Also had some overspray that caused the window tint coat to bubble a bit. Oh well, I should be able to spot the orange in the trees this summer, lol.

Added the extreme swash/collar about a week ago. The paint is pactra fluorescent, covercoat, and smoke.

Great job! I have too much stickers on mine canopies. Less is better
I love orange canopies due high visibility.
Here is another two color work

and a white one

Those look great Liftbag, I personally like the work you did with the stickers...for me, the colors did not mesh as well together as I hoped so I took the two-tone approach. Heh, as soon as I finished I started planning for the next ones, there are some other fluorescent colors I want to try, lol...it's addictive!

If i can get a good image of just the xtreme logo, I want to print different color variations of it on clear decal sheets to use with other canopy colors in the future.

The best i have found it this:

would like to find the full image of it.

Is that a stock flybar or is that another kind of flybar? Do you have any pictures where it's possible to se the flybar a little better?

Its modded... those look like walkera paddles.
Have you checked out the flybar threads? There are quite a few variants a few of us have come up with.

Very nice! If you decide to re-build it can you write a little thread with all those pictures (cuz the measurements rock!) and a brief description of what you did... I would like to add it to the mod sticky!

Or otherwise just post that exact post in the mod thread...

Thanx!
