Search for 'Nine Eagles Bravo SX canopy', This canopy comes in four different color schemes. I've mounted them on GW 9958 fixed pitch micro helis and think they look awesome in the air!
Here's one vendor who has all four colors in stock: http://www.myrcmart.com/nine-eagles-...21_80_199.html

Well, I fly mine on a FP heli, not a NanoCPX, and it definitely does make it feel heavier.
Here's my build thread for that project, btw: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1875173 Here are the weights. Bravo SX fuselage: 5.45g Nano CPX canopy: 1.53g On a CP heli this small, you'll notice the weight, for sure. However, if you just fly it "scale" like, then I'm sure it'll be great!

Night rig
Lunch time flyin' downtown. TX in one hand, taking photo with the cell in the other - try it! This canopy is so super visible. And I discovered it works as a night rig too! The blue light really lights up the neon red canopy! Just need to add those tiny fish lure thingies you break making them glow for a good while, and attach that to the tail Some fluo or reflective mains would be great too (white not, not working well at that).

Not much to look at but I'm happy. Just need a nice looking canopy. Full lynx dfc head. Stretch kit. Hh bl. Airtime skids. The skids are the best upgrade.

That's pretty cool, kind of like a skeleton. What would you call that? Heli-Skeleton? Heli-Skeli? Heliton? Skelecopter?

I seem to have a terrible habit of not finding the right style for me.

Back to NCPX
I'll be making a comeback to the NCPX world after being down with two broken 3n1s. Just got a deal for a HH brushless modded and enough parts to revive my original NCPX.
The NCPS will hopefully be sold by then. Its same bird basically and the Safe gimmick wears off pretty quick. my fleet: Imgur |

Parts box kit Nano
Well here are the results of my parts box build of my Nano. I don't think there is one new part on there but a single servo.
Flies great. Here is a pic of it and a couple of the rest of its family. http://imgur.com/a/x1G0h |

Upgraded frame today
I found an Xtreme carbon fiber frame for $20 so I upgraded my side mount brushless ncpx. Spent all day working on it and soldered escape to the 3n1.
Came out pretty good and has tons of power and fixed all the tail blowout I was having. http://imgur.com/a/LxRO9 Just found a Rakon frame for $14 and just ordered it. Gonna upgrade another one. |
