Default Fly with no canopy

Anyone know of a model that allows me to fly with no canopy?

Yes. You can take the canopy off. But is there a way to make it so that once the canopy is off it doesn't crash immediately.

There is that setting in physics, crash delay. Which you can set to 0, but then all crashes are ignored. I want to fly without the canopy but have it Auto reset upon a 'real' crash.

Oh. Yeah, disable that setting, only other way would be editing the texture and hoping that the canopy material allows transparency.

Default Related question

I am still using RF version 6.5, and have the opposite problem. I practice with a user created Goblin 700 competition and it flies just like my real 700.
recently after a crash and hitting the reset the canopy is now detached and on take off the canopy remains on the ground.
Anyone know how I can remedy this?

Edit the model. Then find the canopy servo. That's typically the servo that detaches the canopy. You will then need to find what channel on your radio manages that servo so that you can then control it.
