E6/E7 low head position
Hello,
When running the lower head position do you adjust only the pitch links or is it a combination of the pitch and servo links? BTW...I'm setup as an E6 with 3300 packs with Lundsford TI turnbuckles that have room for adjustment. Thanks |

I tried the lower head position, first checked for full swash movement, positive and negative, and then shortened the pitch lengths. I didn't have to shorten the cyclic links, but I only run about 12o of pitch, I fly sport and lazy 3D.
I ultimately went back to the middle location, I just felt rolls and flips were more axial, could have been in my head.

I'll try the middle position as well.
I'm setup as an E6 with 3300 packs so I assumed the lower position would be more appropriate for the light setup... Thanks! |

Hi,
I currently have my E6 setup with the head on it's lowest setting using some Lynx Heli Innovations Titanium Turnbuckles. I set the servo to swash links to the standard manual settings but i only adjusted the head links.

Its not in your head. The model is designed so vertical CG is at the boom with the middle head position. When running heavier batteries, use the top position (tallest). Lighter batteries use the lowest position.
