Default AR7210BX a mind of its own?

Has anyone else watched their heli crash with no clue as to why? (ok, I understand that we probably all have! )
But, seriously, today my heli went down for no apparent reason. I had 30 plus successful flights with it after the rebuild. (crash from 3GX losing communication with satellite RX's)

I took it up. spun it to the right, then left. Flipped flight mode into 3D. Did a flip. It rolled out a little tilted. Didn't think much of it, could have easily bumped a little aileron. Attempted a second flip. This time it rolled over halfway through the flip, spun, tumbled then leveled out about 6 feet or so off the ground. I thought "Whew...that was close". Gave it a little cyclic up and a little rudder...and, WHAM. It rolled on its side and slammed into the ground, seemingly out of spite.

Anyone else experience something similar?

The easy one would be... vibrations, if you want to blame the BX.

Otherwise... faulty servo?

I did twice, static on a belt drive machine, a bitch to figure out! But servos do die frequently.

I have a hard time thinking it was vibrations. Ran smooth as butter. Dreamy.

But servos... Hmm. I had been keeping an eye on my wiring. Don't think I had any shorts. Post crash, everything seemed to be working fine.

So, would a servo work, then not, then work again?

it's the fact that the heli recovered from a 50 foot tumble that really throws me. And honestly, I don't remember doing anything stick wise to recover it. it's as if it activated the bail-out mode on its own. Then, with minimal input from my sticks, throws itself into the ground??

A servo could be bad. If it was going to one side to make swash tilt that way. Sorry to hear about the crash.
