Default Tail shaft/gear

here is a tad blury pic, but you can see it....

The shaft is straight, I spun it in my drill.

Not sure how this happened, too much belt tension (but it was still rubbing the boom)

Anyways the gear looks factory installed to the shaft ( no biggie thats how my B400 is too ) so I go to order and the shaft is sold seperately with 2 options of gears

I want to place an order ASAP but need your guys' input first, what gives?

welp, I put it in a vise and beat the heli out of it

looks like I need the gear with the shear pin - not sure how it will go together, but I'm sure I'll find out.

Looks like there is something that is binding and producing heat to deform it that way. The replacement shaft does not come with the pulley. the pulley is 2 pieces with a cross pin. Inspect your bearings, if you are using a metal cage, look for gritty bearings and if everything seems OK, soak the bearings in alcohol and force white lithium grease inside the bearing with your fingers until you see it come out the other side. As of your problem with the belt rubbing the TR cage, try grinding some material off with a dremel tool until you get clearance. I hope this helps.
