Default Cheap Wooden Blades

Does anyone know of any cheap wooden blades I can purchase for this heli? I see that Gaui makes some woodies for the 550, but I think they may be too big. Any recommendations?

Mikado make 450mm wooden blades. $28 @ Ready Heli. I don't know if they would work on the Trex 500.

Align does not make them for a reason... disk loading is to high for it to be safe, the reason the 500 flies so much larger than it is, woodies are a risk of inflight failure.

+1 , all you need is a little fatigue in a cheap wooden blade and it will throw it in flight , even just hovering. the headspeed of this machine is pretty high to be using woodies.

I would add that my blade replacement rate is MUCH LOWER on this heli than on previous smaller ones. Almost on Tuesday.... but I saved it with no amputations of my legs, trees, or tail boom. Wow this heli accelerates....
