Hi guys wonder any new about the cb100. i see that the 4g6 is out but thats abit too much of heli for me right now. so anyone have info bout the cb100??

It does seem to be mystery... It is listed on the Walkrea website, but no one seems to be talking much about it. I can't ven find anyone that has it as a Pre-Order!

CB100 is not out yet. Walkera reply they should start shipping them out within Sept. But no comfirmed date yet......

hmm... this suck after looking around for the cb100 i found cb180d which seem pretty interesting as well i like the way the tail set up shaft driven. this sucks now i cant decide which to get.... cb100 comes db and with a better controller and the cb180d tail setup is better but not brushless...and a standard controller which i have a bunch... i know this is off topic but ne1 have the cb180d?

It does seem like a tough choice as to which one to get, so let's take a step back and think through it logically. If you get the CB100, you will always wonder if you should have gotten the CB180. Conversly, if you get the CB180, you will always wonder if you should have gotten the CB100. There is only one logical conclusion... get both!

Not just heavier/ different flybar but Bell Hiller mixing. All around better designed rotor head.

I wonder how the changed flybar and bellhiller works together...

I'm sure the head will work much like the head on the new Eflite msR works since they both have the 45 degree flybar - i.e. it should hover like a coaxial.

For anyone who can competently fly a 4#3B I think you'd get bored quickly with a CB100.
If you think the 4#3B is too hard to fly or are just starting out in the hobby, the CB100 could be the ideal heli

I have to admit that the MSR is almost boring compared to the 4#3b.

But the MSR just does what you want it to, while the 4#3b makes you stay constantly on your toes.

I like my MSR but they are very different.

I would still be interested in trying the cb100 head though.

Just released in hong kong . Shouldn,t be to long for US to get them .
Does anyone know if Transmitter 2402 , can be set up for more models . Not just binding , i mean select say one to four models by memory .

Unfortunately, no... think of the 2402 as a 2801 with just one memory slot. If you want to use the transmitter to create several different settings for a single heli, or use it to fly different helis, then you will need to use a 2801 (or the new 2801 PRO).

Sorry never had a MSR so can't really compare it. But compare to the 4#3 it is so easy to fly. I agree if you can fly the 4#3 quite well you may find this one a little boring. But it is good for someone just steping up from the co-axial. And the new 2402 tx sorry it does not have any memory. It is basicly same as the old 2401 but now all the reverse are digital now.

We received our sample unit today, and it's definitely more stable than a 4#3B, which is what everybody was expecting. So far, I don't see what would be a negative vs. the 4#3B other than your not fighting it all the time. I did get a chance at some forward flight, and it's pretty quick. I think with some adjustments from stock, it could be as quick and agile as the 4#3B. It does have a tendancy to nose up after foward flight, but that's pretty common with type of configuration. The tail seems pretty solid, but it's not nearly as solid as the mSR. Walkera doesn't seem to be able to get it's tails to hold real well with this motor combo. It's not terrible, but you get that occasional flutter we've all grown to know and love Flight time is pretty good, getting a solid 8 minutes consistently...that's 2 minutes better than the mSR and the stock 120mAh it comes with. Durability isn't any different than the 4#3B. Skids are identical..in fact it's the same frame...they just snap off the swash guide from the frame and put on the servo holder that has the new guide on it. Need to keep that in mind if a 4#3B conversion is being considered. Not a big fan of the 2402, so that will be set aside for my 2801PRO. I flew it a few times and I'm not a fan of the trims. The representation on the screen is not precise like the 2801. It only has display positions for the tabs at 25% increments. So a glance down doesn't give the actual setting....You have to hit the trim to pop up a percentage which is annoying. I haven't explored the settings to see if this can be changed, but I certainly hope so. More to come with more flights....
but so far, I'm a fan.

Every video I have seen doesn't really do the CB100 justice. Seems like everybody is just putzing around with it. This thing has the ability to really get moving in FFF. Banks well in turns and is pretty responsive. If I can find a camera man/woman I'll get some video....
