Align 3GX V2.0 - what is all the fuss about?

So I took a day to review the forum threads and read and re-read all the Align instructions as well as the original helicopter manual.

Then I upgraded to V2.0 and very very carefully entered and confirmed all settings and checked the heli over for correct travels, limits, gains, balance etc and then went and flew..

It did feel a little over stable so I adjusted some settings for a more direct feel..

So...why all the fuss? Or am I just super lucky?

I njoy the 3GX threads - lots of dedicated heli flyers - good to see!

Updated my 3gx to V2.0 and it feels solid. No problems here. The instruction was a little confusing at first but after a few trials, it's all good now. Had the 3GX since the 600EFL Pro came out. No issues here.

By the way, I paid my lhs $100 to build it. I just wanted to make sure it's built right. They did a great job setting it up and everything. No problem since day 1. For those of you who have problems with it, you may want to take it to a lhs who's got experience working on 3GX or RC Helis. Not every hobby store got the right people working behind the counter. I've had RC car people trying to help me on heli.

I finally bit but bullet and updated the first of my heli's to V2.0. First test flights tomorrow morning after some trial and error with the setups.

There's a small learning curve with the new setup. Only complaint is that they should add more delay so that when you are checking the setups it doesn't jump out of the setup modes.

I had 2. First one good, second one bad. I still have the first one. Second one has been replaced...
