RNFB mod and. Controller
Is anyone out there using the RNFB mod? If so what controller are you using?
My heli, using the Ikon I controller, is supper touchy and I am wondering if anyone else has this problem with their flybarless heli? Still doing simple FF and hovering. Can't really progress until I get this sorted out. Thanks Mike |

I'm using the AR7200 here, not touchy at all, very smooth, and soft setup. I have an Ikon on my X5. You can dial down rotational rates in the advanced menu. Are you using the mixer arms, or running straight from the blade grips to the servos?

I'm using beast x. I tried skookum 540 but it's not working out to well. it doesn't have anything to do with the head but more orientation of the gyro and keeping good access to the USB plug. then trying to keep the wires away from the canopy. so I'm goin back to beast x

I relocated the gyro tray to the front, over the servo there, if that helps any.

RNFB
I am running the way John shows in his on line instructions for the RNFB mod. I guess that would be servo to swash, swash to mixer arms, mixer arms to blade grips. Is that what you meant?
If you can post a picture of your set up I would like to compare it to mine. Thanks guys for the info. Mike |

if you go to the audacity models web site it shows pics and instructions. on one of the mixer arms u can change the location of the ball link so u can change the geometry a little. but u can change how it feels in the fbl controller or add some expo till u get used to it.
