Nice, u kept it simple, nice fittings on the bottles. How many flights on that setup? What kind of redundancy setup u have for power?

Only a couple test hops with that fuel setup. Just haven't had time to get out in a LOOOONG time and civilians are no longer allowed to be members of the turbine friendly club I used to belong to.

Rx and ECU power is the DuraLite setup using LiIon packs 2S2P 4000 (?) mAh and a DuraLite reg.

ECU pack is good for about 5 flights, but I usually charge after 3-4 flights. Rx pack goes for double that, but I do check both after each flight.

Wow what kind of club is that? I haven't really flown mine due to being paranoid of something going wrong with the wiring. All ive done is temporary wiring and running it on the bench. What is required to fly this thing in the field? I have the co2 extinguisher already.

Charged batteries, charged Tx battery, CO2 or Halon extinguisher, "propane" bottle and fill valve (unless your '54 has the kero start setup) and a way to pump fuel into the tanks. (I like the Jersey Modeler 5 gallon setup)

It's really not that big of a deal once you get over the "intimidation" of the cost...

I've crashed mine 4 times... Just repair and go fly.
