I'd say 12T. You're not too far below the Kv of the 4926SZ motor and you're running 17% more voltage than the typical setup.

I wouldn't mind social media so much if it didn't involve people.

It depends on the headspeed you want to achieve. For anything lower than 2150, the 12T is perfect. But if you need higher headspeed, you need a 13T for good gov performance.

Are you sure you're not talking about a 12S setup? The OP is running 14S.

You are right, I just put the numbers on Mr Mel's calc again and I probably put something wrong the first time. The OP can go over 2200 with the 12T with enough headroom. I apologize for that.

I don't think you will have a problem, the Compass Slant gear is pretty beefy as it is and if you have the correct mesh needed, it should not strip on you.

Pinion selection also is a function of the ESC used. For example, I use a larger pinion for Kontronik Jive or YGE than I would HobbyWing, or Castle. YEP would also be in there.

I am using 13t with 500kV to get a 2000 rpm at 65% throttle (82% PWM).

You're on 12S though, right?
