MA Stratus G26 3Dmax Hanson Throtle Curves

Hi,

I just bought a stratus gasser from a fellow freak here about 2 weeks ago, this is my first gasser heli so I might sound dumb and If I do I'm sorry.

Here is my qustion, if I set up the throttle curves as mentioned here on other threads they should run from 0-20-23.5-25-100 or stunt mode 100-32.5-30-32.5-100 (these numbers are only examples not actual ) and if I'm hovering at 3/4 and my curve is only about 23% or so with a head speed of 1500 what happenes if I get to 100% throtle wouldnt my head speed be somewhere in 2000 - 3000 range which is way too much for this type of heli?? I'm confused about this part. If I'm at 1500 head speed at 23% throtle curve then I should be at 1750 at about 28% not 100%?? Please explain how this works as I'm affraid to fly this thing since I'm not sure of the correct setup and dont want to blow my 26G Hanson motor. Maybe somebody from here is located in the tri state area so we can posibbly meet out on the field somewhere.
