DX7s and the phoenix 4.0.j
Good afternoon folks.
I just recently calibrate my DX7s with my Phoenix 4.0.j and I have a couple of questions: 1. When I move my throttle stick, two bars are moving, and this is not correct by the leyend in this final screen. I configure my Radio in Swash type to 1 servo, so it supoust to disable the mixing in the radio. So why the swash mix still enable? 2. When I turn on the image of the radio, the STUNT allways is on and when I move the hold stick noting happend in the reprensentention of the radio in the left corner of the screen in the laptop. So again What I'm doing wrong? Thank you for your advice. Saludos! |

Same as on mine; throttle (ch1) and pitch (ch6) are controlled by the throttle stick. This is a good thing, since it works for both fixed and collective-pitch helicopters.
Flight mode is normally handled within the radio itself and is not "seen" by the simulator, other than the indirect effect that flight mode has on d/r, expo, curves, etc. So this is normal. If you're seeing the right things happen as you switch to idle-up (i.e. throttle is constant but moving the throttle controls vertical direction and rate of ascent/descent), then you're good to go. |

Ok this is the case. And reading thelp is normal that these bars are moving when the radio is configuring for helicopters.
Than you dodge. Last edited by salamandras; 04-12-2012 at 07:07 PM.. |

Mcpx settings
Hey there, just thought I would chime in, when I set up phoenix to my Dx7s acording to the directions, it worked mostly. My throttle hold and stunt swtiches did nothing, I had to use the keyboard.
When I bought my mcpx, I downloaded the Dx7s setting from the blade website and imported them into the radio, and just for the hell of it (because it's one servo also) I pluged it into phoenix to try. I'll be damed, everything works, the way it does in real life now (Not sure why or what I did wrong the first time) but all my switches and throttle/ pitch/ stunt/ hold works flawlessly. since then I am way impressed. So if you are still having problems maybe try that.
