Default Tail question

Here's the scoop, tail hold well during flight, however upon full pitch the tail slowly drifts right (nose left) about 90 degrees. I have changed the head speed from 2700-3100 with no effect. Tried 3 different sets/size of tail blades with no effect.

The equipment:

MSH Mini Protos Stretch 4s 350mm blades
Glacier 4s 2200 30c
Ice Lite 50 (using govenor) 2800,2900,3100
Ar7200Bx
Tail Align DS425m
Tail blades kdbb 61mm,

Your thoughts???

Strange problem, have you adjusted your tail pitch in rate mode? It shouldn´t make that much of a difference with the BeastX if not, but worth a try.

One other thing that comes to mind is that that the FBL unit could pick up vibration during full pitch moves. I would check if the wiring pulls on the unit when you move the heli or maybe they are too tight and transmit vibes to the casing?

Also: What tape did you mount your BX? Stock tape on BX gives some people vibe problems, I´ve mounted mine (Microbeast) with 3M tape.

You´re sure it isn´t your thumbs doing things you don´t notice (giving rudder input)? I once thought I had a problem with off- axis loops, but it was me giving unintended inputs. I put more preload into the gimbals of the tx and my loops were straight.

do you have tail revo precomp turned on in the beastx if you do you may have the direction set wrong. Try not to use tail revo precomp. Your tail slider might be a little sticky also. Un hook the tail rod from the tail pitch lever and move the blades by fingers. if it is anything but buttery smooth thru the hole range you need to fix it. Plus one on thumbs. You might be giving a bit of left rudder when you move the stick all the way up. That would be the natural movement of thumb on the stick. I fly pinch

Do you use a tray with your Tx? I have been trying the pinch method but find it difficult with the Dx6.

I sure do. I find it just impossible to pinch and hold the tx with my small hands. I also use extended sticks with this tray. Works for me LOL!
Here is a photo
