Ya I tried that first. It was a no go. I can't even get it to power up now so I'm thinking I just got a bad one.

This same scenerio has happened quite a few times and with cross flashing CX unit. Keep trying to flash it as it eventually seems to take for most people.

The dynams seem to stay partially powered wwhen.connected to the USB. Connect like normal and when.u go to.flash and go to unplug heli power also unplug USB wire from.the dynamic. Hold in button. Replug heli wait for flashing red then plug USB back into dynam and update. If u unplug the USB it won't work.

Well... I'm getting closer I guess. Finally got some leds to respond and was able to flash, but now when I restart it, I get the flashing blue led. Receiver and leads are fine because the ZYX re-initializes just fine. I'll keep banging away at it.

Good to hear! Can you connect to pc now? Check all the setup's. Blue flashing is initialization error btw.

Ya i can connect to pc. Still get the flashing blue light half the time. Also servos are moving on their own. Not jittering but full throw about every second. Also appears that i cant get cyclic roll and pitch to work at the same time. One time i restart and i only have roll. Next time only pitch. I'll give it a rest and come back later. Im thinking i might have to cut my losses. For 25 bucks it was worth a shot.

I've tried zyx-s versions 3.5, 4.01 and 4.02. I don't have a copy of 4.0. All versions were for the zyx-s though, and I get the same results with all three. When I first turn it on, some times it initializes some times I get the flashing blue light. If I get the flashing blue light I can hold the set button for a few seconds and it will initialize. When it first starts, everything seems fine pitch, roll and yaw in the right directions along with the compensation. After about a minute, the swash will pitch either forward or back begin cycling forward and backward. All three servos move together and go full deflection as if I were moving the cyclic stick up and down. It moves at a rate of about once every two seconds and then some times speeds up to about once a second.

My first time working on this. I managed to connect and bind it...seemingly...Anyway I can transmit changes to the unit, however, I can't get it to update the firmware. I get a timeout error. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks!

CRAP!!! So I finally got it going...seemingly...I see a progress bar going and packets sending. After a few seconds, I get an error and the update stopped. Now the lights on the controller won't turn on at all. No diagnostic lights. The DSM2 satellite lights up and seem to bind, but I get no lights from the controller. Did I just turn this into a little brick?! Please help!

Thanks again! I managed to wake it up! However, the blue light won't stop flashing after the test phase. I was trying to keep it as still as possible but the blue won't go steady.
