Looks nice, but I guess I'll just have to keep praying for an X6...

That looks more like a 500, or are those just really small women?

EDIT: I just noticed the Gaui label on their thigh.

Hmmm, what a disappointment.
I have been flying Gaui helicopters for 5 years now, and been waiting on a 325mm bladed Gaui helicopter to come out. Unfortunately, now that they finally came out with one, it is nothing that I would ever be interested in buying.

If it had a flybar head and belt driven tail, I would buy one the day it came out. But, I guess I will have to either switch to Protos, or just give up the hobby all together, most likely the latter.

I noticed today that when I went to order some spare parts, 2 of my 'regular online shops' are having going out of business sales. Seems that the hobby is dying quickly due to the lack of sales. Hopefully, flybars and belt driven tails will come back soon, so the hobby can reclaim all of it's lost hobbyists.

drive train looks a lot like the blade 130x, auto rotation gear to torque tube.

That would have to be the most positive post I've ever seen, in regards to a newly released heli. I can feel your excitement through the computer screen haha.

I doubt it, FBL has become immensely popular now that there are good FBL controllers to be had in every price range. You now have the ZYX at $50, the Robird at $100 and BeastX at $200.

That looks like the best new 450 I've ever seen. Finally an easy servo layout for wrenching. 2520 motor.

I really like this.

Huh? How would FBL and belts cause customers to go away? Generally it makes things easier.

i came into this hobby right at the beginning nof the fbl craze.

if it was not for the ease of use of fbl units i would have walked away from this hobby.

i spent alot of wasted months on a flybarred heli, i asked other local heli fliers for help
but it never flew right. the second i went fbl , the heli flew right and i was hooked.

alot of people want a strong 325mm heli for 6s, most of the designs out already were meant for 3s power, hence the thinner shafts. the warp is the only one i know of to be designed for 6s. i think the X3 is gona be crazy powerful

Right, hobby is dying because there are no flybar helis. All run!

Back on topic, interesting heli, I need to see the price though, Gauis seem to be a bit overpriced for what they offer, IMO.

Wow... Great design.

With the increased spindle sizes, new design tail pitch control, and 6S capable motor this has to be one of the top contenders in the 450 class. If they release a stretch kit it will be hard to beat.
Gaui is one of the few companies that makes a super combo with stuff I would actually want to use. Great servos, Hobbywing ESC, Vbar.
Running Vbar Govenor and the Hobbywing ESC is one of the best electronic combinations available today.

Kudos Gaui
