Yes it was running fine, although the scale fuselage does seem to make the Heli much louder.

Wish I could get my 450 MD500 to run that smooth. Didn't even see the T-tail wag. How are you mounting the mechanics? Mine's out of the fuselage for the 5th time. Flies great until I put it back in - running out of ideas...

Default Hughes MD500E

Hi Jon,I mounted the mechanics as the instructions said I did however have to make the mounting blocks lower by two strips, the 450 plus Dfc seemed to fit in well and I didn't have to make any changes to the tail servo or link arm which I think was a bonus.I also reinforced the wooden feet with some left over carbon fibre which I think braces things up a bit,I will post a video which shows what I did to the feet, hope you get yours sorted.

Hi
I bought the Led light set from Ebay they are made by Turnigy and cost £7, the Led covers red white and green and the headlights are from Maplins and we're very inexpensive.

Thanks - looks like I've done all the same. The vibration seems to center in the canopy and only after the skids leave the ground. I've added two additional magnets, but will try two more. Everything else seems to balance just fine. I'm not running the side windows yet - I wonder if that will stiffen things up?

No - I just clocked the mount a little more under the boom and went with a golden rod setup. No tail issues.
