Default YGE 200 has auxiliary power lead. Anyone know the purpose?

My 16S capable 200 arrived yesterday for my upcoming 800 build. It has secondary power lead I haven't seen before. My 160 V5 does not have this.

It is not labeled on the controller and I can't find anything about it from searching. Not sure if this is done by YGE or by WOH for the 16S capability.

The controller does not have a BEC so its not for that. I'm thinking it might be for the additional voltage? So i'd solder the two power leads together? Maybe telemetry? Not sure.

Any ideas? I've put out an inquiry to the owner at WOH but figured i'd ask here as well. Thanks.

Interesting. I'm not familiar with that. How do you have it set up? Do you have any pictures?

Does the attached diagram look right?

My antispark lead is separate though. So, will I need to solder in a small gauge positive wire on my battery side connection? This is kind of confusing.

Yeah, you will have to so solder a wire off your positive lead of your batteries, and that's it....

I thought YGE already had anti-spark, my YGE 160 does not have the spark.

Do your 200's have this separate anti-spark lead or did you just bypass it?

Also, I forgot to mention I will be using very large ProgressiveRC 8mm connectors on this machine (PR8's). Will I still need an anti-spark with connectors this large?

I don't mind running it, but if I don't need it it would be easier to just bypass it.

The spark on my yge 160 is manageable, it is no where near loud from the castle and my kon 120hv. Some sparks will be present, whats ur expectation?

You'll have a spark with over 60V, even with 8mm connectors, probably pretty large too considering you get already sparks on 25V (with 8mm connectors too).

Antispark is there to prevent pitting of the connectors from large sparks over time.
Not sure how necessary it is, but I guess you get quite big sparks on 16S.
