Default Trex 450 Plus DFC Stretch Question

Guys and girls,

I have (2) Align Trex 450 Plus DFC heli's, named Danica and Maria.

In real life Danica Patrick is about 5'-2",
while Maria Sharapova is around 6'-4".

I'm wanting to stretch Maria out so I can run some good size main blades.
360's would be nice. I fly very easy sport / homemade precision flying.
She has a belt drive and I would prefer to stick with a belt.
She will also have an aluminum rotor head assembly / grips soon.

Can anybody direct me to a new tail-boom and belt?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks man!
Where's a good place to buy Tarot stuff?

EDIT: I just seen that HobbyKing carries Tarot parts. I'll take a lok there, but if you know of someplace who has everything I'd appreciate the info.

EBay or hobby king is good for tarot peices. The 480 boom and belt will swing 360's.

Are you switching from plastic head components? I'm looking at maybe getting some for a 480n build I'm doing, if it helps shave weight.
That poor heli needs to shave serious weight (400g) and a power plant upgrade.

Yeah, Maria has the stock plastic head and grips.
I run 4S batteries on her, and I have to add some weight to the tail for CG.
Stretching the tail will probably mean I don't have to run this extra weight.

Again, Thank You very much!!

HobbyKing had the tail-boom, but no belt.
I'll try what you suggested.

I just ordered the 480 tail boom, 2 support rods and 2 belts from Tarot-RC.
I'm going to hold off ordering main blades because it looks like there may
be a chance I can run 380mm blades. That would be way cool.

EDIT: Crap!!! Forgot the linkage rod. Wonder if I can add it?
EDIT 2: Screw it, I'll just modify what I've got.

I have 2 with the 480 boom and unfortunately neither can swing 380's. I really like the setup with 325's so far. I can't wait to get my 6s pro with the 360's done.

Well, here's what's been going on with this project:

I found that I could run the 380mm main blades if I ran 57mm tail blades.
Actually had more static clearance than the stock set-up running 325mm and whatever the stock tail blades are.

The first time I tried to spool-up, she had a bad CCW spin.
I found out the CF tail control rod was flexing (they didn't send any supports with the CF rod). I also discovered the tail blade grip bearings were really notchy, so I replaced those. Now everything is like butter.

I ordered the tail servo mounts that clamp onto the tail boom so I could use the stock piano wire rod, since I had guide supports for that. Again, everything moved like butter.

Yesterday I tried this again in the basement (way, way too windy outside)
I know the basement floor is really slick, but I didn't want to try any rubber rings on the slids or anything like that. I wanted to just get her light on the skids so she wouldn't tip over.
This time, she would spin both CW and CCW. This would seem to indicate that I do have enough tail blade. But, maybe I need to raise the tail gain?

I may try going back to the 325's just to see how things go.

Any thoughts guys? I really want to run the 380's if possible.
