Default Governor problem Brain V1

Hi,

Yesterday at the flying field I tried out my new GAUI NX4 with GAUI37 /OS37 motor.

Brain V1 with Jr Xbus mode B, single wire. Latest Firmware

I have 20T pinion with stock 120T Main gear, sensor div is 1.
Headspeed
setup1 2650 [gov disabled]
setup2 2950 [gov enable]
setup1 2950 [gov enable + SL]

First flight was gr8, had setup 2/3 on 2700rpm, but the heli seems to not generate enough engine power, so off to the laptop, upped the rpm to 2950. Follow the 'exit' procedure. Close the app, unplug the usb, power down heli. Power down TX.

Off to the launch pad, setup 1 and take off, flip to setup 2 to start flying motor just 'wham' goes in to idle. Why??? Eventhough the throttle curve is a flat 85% ??? If governor fails shouldn't it revert to curve?

ON after inspection, I noticed that all 3 bank goes green, sometimes it doesn't go green, switched to advanced and noticed the settings didn't correspond to what was set. Could it have been a save error?

Attached is some application screen grabs.
Notice the governor rpm settings all green. I suppose yellow means edit?

** What is the maximum rpm the brain governor can handle?
** Can Brain V1 do RPM logging or signal lost logging?

No Guesses?
Any ideas? Anything I should check?

Please help, I'm very confused

Yellow means its not saved yet so after you have finished entering new values just click your cursor outside of the field anywhere on your screen the yellow goes back to white and the value is saved.

The Brain1 cannot do logging of any parameter.

Usually, the changes will be committed if you press the tab-key or move to a different field on the App.

The sensor divisor has me concerned. I am not sure it should be 1.
It is usually the number of poles in the motor divided by 2 (10 poles / 2 = 5).
I should check my T600E or G380 to verify.
But, if the sensing divisor is wrong, then the gov will not be able to calculate the correct headspeed.

Sensor devider is set to 1 for nitro, seems to pickup only 1 magnet. So magnets seems to be in correct orientations.

My Bad! I missed the comment about the OS 37.
You are correct - the divisor is 1 for nitro (I use that on my Trex 600N and 700N)

You are also correct about the sensor failure mode - the Brain will revert to the Throttle Curve (85% in your case)

Maybe it was a save error.
